Two weeks ago, Emily Ratajkowski surprised the world by announcing her marriage to actor Sebastian Bear-McClard on Instagram Stories. Her snaps were shortly followed up with posts showing off her beau. (For those interested, the bride wore a mustard pantsuit from Zara that costs less than $200.)
Now, after the impromptu wedding and the Oscars, it would seem that the newlywed model has escaped for some downtime—or perhaps for her honeymoon. Over the past couple of days Ratajkowski’s ’grams have shown her swimming in a sublime pool and views of a quiet desert from a minimally decorated room. The setting for her possible mini-moon? Amangiri.
An Aman Resorts property, a brand favored for its remote hideaways and less-is-more design philosophy, Amangiri is tucked away in a protected valley in Canyon Point, Utah. The desert retreat consists of 34 suites, all of which come with terraces, fireplaces, and private courtyard entrances. By the looks of it, Ratajkowski opted for one of the accommodations that comes with a pool—a must if you plan on staying in your quarters all day and want the added privacy.
But if we were Ratajkowski, we’d definitely venture out to unwind at the hotel’s 25,000-square-foot spa. Framed by lofty mesa walls and steep cliffs, the sanctuary really ups the relaxation factor with a stone-lined step pool surrounded by cushioned seating for guests to recline in. And while there are five traditional treatment rooms available, the two outdoor terraces are the place to go for a massage session. Follow this up with a sunset tipple at the alfresco Desert Lounge and an intimate fireside dinner of Southwestern-inspired fare, and you’ve got yourself one romantic getaway.
