Gods of Egypt, The Hitman's Bodyguard, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo actress Elodie Yung is a French TV and movie actress. She was born in Parin on February 22, 1981. She portrays Elektra in the second season of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Netflix series Daredevil.
Her father was Cambodian and mother was French. She has done her graduation from from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and also has done LLB from the University of Paris. She had law practiced karate for over ten years.
Her first roles were on television after she started getting acting role proposals in age of 20 years old. Following her 2004 film debut as female lead Tsu in Les fils du vent, she played the gang lord Tao role in District 13: Ultimatum. She was returned to TV for the first three seasons of the successful police television series, Les Bleus with Clementine Celarie. She played her first Hollywood movie role in the film ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ as Miriam Wu, a romantic interest of Lisbeth Salander. She appeared on the silver screen as a ninja Jinx in G.I. Joe: Retaliation in 2013. She starred leading role in the block buster Hollywood action thriller movie Gods of Egypt in 2016, as the goddess Hathor. She plays Elektra role in season 2 of the Netflix series, Marvel's Daredevil in 2016.
