When she was still a young child, she went to several performing art schools and participated in singing and dancing competitions. Her singing talent was discovered by Darlette Johnson, who was a dance instructor at St. Mary’s Montessori School in Houston where she had enrolled for dance classes. Darlette began humming a song and Beyonce finished it.
