About: Turkish actress Beren Saat completes her
primary & secondary education from TED Ankara College after that she went
to Başkent University for her Business Administration studies. During her
education in university she participated in the TV competition Türkiye’nin
Yıldızları where she finished as runner up for that competition.
She appears in candy commercials series, Saat made her TV
debut in Aşkımızda Ölüm Var TV series where she played leading role with Ece
Uslu as her sister. She played a role in Aşkımızda Ölüm Var, 2004 and she played
her first leading role in Aşka Sürgün, 2005. She gets national fame from her
leading role Yasemin Ünsal in Tomris Giritlioğlu's Hatırla Sevgili.
She starts her film career in 2008, with Giritlioğlu in the
film Güz Sancısı (Pains of Autumn). After that Saat played a role Bihter
Yöreoğlu in Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil that was adaption of classic novel Aşk-ı Memnu
set in the recent days. She won continuous best actress awards from Golden
Butterfly Awards for her performance. She also played leading role in director
Serdar Akar's film Gecenin Kanatları (Wings of the Night) which was released in
Dec 2009.
She is currently playing main character Fatmagul in famous series
titled "Fatmagul'un Sucu ne?" which is adapted from Vedat Türkali's
novel, which has one of the highest TV
show ratings in Turkey. She is playing the lead role of a young girl whose life
gets turned upside down after she is raped by strangers.
