Emeraude Toubia is an American actress, model, dancer and host. She born on March 1, 1989. She portrays Isabelle Lightwood in the Freeform television series Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments.

Emeraude Toubia was born on March 1, 1989 in Brownsville, Texas. She is of Mexican and Lebanese descent.

Toubia's career began at age ten on a Televisa program, specifically as a presenter on Mundo de Niños, along with other small TV appearances. Since childhood, Toubia has been attracted to the entertainment and competed in several beauty contests, crowned Miss South Texas, RGV Miss America, Miss Teen Brownsville, and also competed in Miss Texas USA 2010, among others.

Toubia first became widely known in 2008, when she was selected to participate in the second season of the Univision reality show/beauty pageant Nuestra Belleza Latina, where the participants were trained rigorously in acting, presenting, dancing and other activities, and she was voted to first runner-up. Since then, she has been featured in ads, campaigns and commercials for brands such as Maybelline, JC Penney, State Farm, Garnier Fructis, Sony, and AT&T, among others, as well as major publications such as Tempo, Hola!, Panorama, Estilo and many more. She also began her training in acting afterwards, hoping to get to Hollywood and make films or television series in English. In 2009, she joined the second season of Model Latina and finished in fifth place.

In 2013, Toubia made her acting debut in Miami, where she settled in 2010, as well as where her previous contests were based, with the guest starring role of Elizabeth on Nickelodeon Latin America's youth telenovela 11-11: En mi cuadra nada cuadra, for which she was coached by Oscar-nominee actress Adriana Barraza. She also performed three songs for the official soundtrack. She also appeared as Dulce Rincón on the Venezuelan telenovela Univisión-Venevision production Costa Linda in 2014, and as Estefania/Stefi on Voltea pa que te enamores, the US remake of a Venezuelan telenovela.

In 2015, she was cast as Isabelle Lightwood for Freeform's upcoming supernatural drama, Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments. Filming started on May 21, 2015 and the first episode premiered 12 January 2016.
