Shadowhunters Hollywood actress Katherine "Kat" Grace McNamara is an American actress, singer, songwriter, model and dancer. She born on November 22. 1995 She is set to play Clary Fray in the upcoming Freeform Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments and Sonya in the Maze Runner film series.
McNamara was born in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated at age 14 from high school, and went on to graduate college with a bachelor's degree by age 17. She guest starred on shows including Drop Dead Diva and 30 Rock. She was also in movies such as New Year's Eve. She is also set to star in the Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn film remake as Tom's girlfriend.
She appeared on the Disney XD show Kickin' It, in which she had a recurring role as Claire, Kim's rival, as well as appearing as Myra Santelli in the Disney Channel movie Girl vs. Monster.
She also appeared in two episodes of Jessie, playing Bryn Brietbart, as well as an episode of the new Nickelodeon series The Thundermans. She also appeared in the independent movie Contest.
McNamara was cast in the MTV series Happyland as Harper, a resident of the park who goes after Ian despite the fact that she has a boyfriend, Will (Moulene), a character performer at the park.
McNamara appeared in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, the sequel to The Maze Runner, as Sonya, a co-leader of Group B. It was announced that McNamara will be playing Kat on the upcoming season of The Fosters.
It was announced on May 6, 2015 that McNamara will be playing Clary Fray in Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments, the television adaptation of Cassandra Clare's best-selling book series The Mortal Instruments.
