Shannen Doherty thinks Jason Priestley's Memory Was "Altered" by his Accident, Judges Tori Spelling's Show!

Beverly Hills, 90210 ended long ago, but the off-screen drama didn't.
The beloved Aaron Spelling series ended after 10 seasons in 2000, but Shannen Doherty is still up in arms over her short stint on the teen soap opera. The actress and Off the Map reality star stopped by Sirius XM's "Just Jenny" (airing tonight at 8 p.m. ET) and made some harsh comments about Jason Priestley in response to what the actor wrote about her in his 2014 book, Jason Jason: A Memoir.

"I love Jason, but you know he had a car accident, a racing accident, and I think maybe parts of his memory got altered from that," alleged Shannen, who was written off the show after its fourth season. "Everybody changes...They have their own perception of the truth. His is definitely different than mine."
In 2002, Jason was seriously injured during a practice run at the Kentucky Speedway after his Indy Pro Series car crashed into a wall at 182 miles per hour. After the accident, the actor was transferred to the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center and admitted to trauma ICU in critical condition. Not long after he stabilized, he was transferred to an Indianapolis hospital, where he made a full recovery.

The road to recovery wasn't easy for Jason, as his face was smashed beyond recognition and his feet and back were broken. And, as the star recalled in his memoir, he was technically dead for about 45 seconds.
Perhaps Shannen should cut him some slack.

Referring to the excerpt from Jason's book that bothered her most of all, Shannen, 43, said, "Supposedly I wanted a limo, and I've always hated limos my entire life. I find them embarrassing and grotesque. I mean, there are things that would in no way happen. Like, I didn't even go on that jet at that point in time…It's like, 'Wait, wait, wait! You totally confused me with somebody else maybe from the show?!"

"I don't really know. I just know that at some point everybody just needs to sell a book...Right?"

(In addition to Shannen and Jason, co-stars Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling have written about their experiences on the show. Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Ian Ziering, meanwhile, have not.)

Shannen also commented on Tori's Lifetime docuseries, True Tori, though chose her words carefully. "I would never in a million years choose that for myself. Ever. But, uh, you know, she's gotta...That's what she...That is her choice of how she wants to deal with it. Some people need to put it out there," she said of her former colleague's decision to air her dirty laundry publicly. "Whatever her reasons were, I think whether she wanted to own it herself in the sense of owning what she was going through because it was going to be in the papers regardless. It is a choice I'd never make because there's just no mystery."

So, does she still get along with anyone from the show?

"Ian, Brian and Jennie are the three that I've remained close with," she said.

There won't ever be a reunion, either, she announced: "Not for me!"
