Berlin: 'Boyhood' Actress Zoe Graham Joins 'Secret in Their Eyes' Remake

Boyhood's Zoe Graham has joined the English-language remake of the Argentine thriller The Secret In Their Eyes.
She'll play the daughter of Julia Roberts' character, joining a cast that includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Nicole Kidman (who replaced Gwyneth Paltrow) and Breaking Bad's Dean Norris.
Billy Ray will direct from a screenplay he wrote. The film is based on a novel by Eduardo Sacheri, which Juan Jose Campanella adapted into his 2009 Oscar winner for best foreign language film. It centers on a retired criminal investigator who writes a mystery novel in hopes of coming to grips with one of his unsolved cases and his unrequited love for his former superior.
Robert Simonds' STX and Gran Via will produce the remake with IM Global, which financed the film and represents it for sales.
Graham played Mason’s (Ellar Coltrane) high school girlfriend in Boyhood, which remains a top contender for best picture. She’ll appear opposite Guy Pearce and Cobie Smulders in the Andrew Bujalski comedy Results, which Magnolia picked up ahead of its Sundance premiere and plans to release in theaters this summer. Her previous credits include William H. Macy's feature directorial debut Rudderless and Slacker 2011, a reinterpretation of her Boyhood director Richard Linklater's Slacker.
She’s represented by Gersh and Collier Talent and managed by Untitled.
