Paul Walker makes final film appearance in the Fast and Furious 7 trailer

The Fast And Furious 7 trailer starring the late Paul Walker has been released, which sees the actor in the role of Brian O’Connor for the final time.

The film was in production when Walker died suddenly in a high-speed car crash in November 2013.

He had completed the majority of shooting for the latest instalment of the street racing franchise, and producers employed digital effects with the help of Walker’s brother to finish his parts.

Paying tribute to his co-star in August this year, Vin Diesel said: "I grew up in the bouncer world, and we lost people while we were bouncing. But the brotherhood in Paul Walker was something completely different.
"We grew up in the business together, and we became famous together, and we represented the biggest franchise together. He was my partner, and it’s a strange thing to ... I've been acting all my life and they don't teach you in acting, how to mourn someone and simultaneously pretend they're in a scene with you."

The trailer, which also stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, sees Walker successfully rescue a damsel in distress from the back of a run-away coach, which plunges off a cliff. He escapes falling with the vehicle by leaping and holding on to the tail of Rodriguez’s car, which speeds to the cliff edge just in time.

It ends with Diesel saying, "I don’t have friends. I got family," before it movingly cuts back to a scene starring Walker.

Fast and Furious 7 is set to be released in cinemas from April 2015.
