Sydney Vivid Light Festival: HD Pictures

Sydney's annual Vivid Festival has opened with a series of spectacular light displays on many of the city's iconic buildings.

Now in its fourth year, the event features over 50 light installations, including a display on the 'sails' of the Sydney Opera House.

Last year’s festival attracted 800,000 visitors, with more expected this year as the festival expands into the CBS for the first time, with works in Martin Place.
